Workshop participants will learn to:

  • Capture high quality patient data efficiently, including photographs and digital scans necessary for precise treatment planning. 
  • Implement intraoral scanning to enhance digital workflows and improve patient communication, regardless of scanner type. 
  • Wirelessly transfer photographs from a camera to both a tablet and computer. 
  • Utilize tablets to foster interactive treatment conversations with patients.
  • Access intraoral scans, photographs, and radiographs through different cloud storage solutions, facilitating collaboration with specialists and laboratory technicians.

  • Utilize new smile design software alongside Spear's traditional Facially Generated Treatment Planning protocol.

Darin Dichter, D.M.D.

Dr. Dichter brings nearly 20 years of clinical, research and teaching experience — as a general practitioner and prosthodontist — to his position with Spear. He serves as an instructor in the Treating the Terminal Dentition and Fully Edentulous Patient seminar, in addition to multiple Spear Workshops.

Mike Skramstad, D.D.S.

Dr. Skramstad is a 2000 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a certified advanced Digital Dentistry trainer and has lectured internationally on technology, implantology and digital dentistry. Dr. Skramstad is an Alpha/Beta tester for Dentsply Sirona and enjoys working closely with the engineering team to help with hardware/software development.
