Spear Summit 2026 takes place March 26 – 28, 2026*, in San Diego, California, at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center.

As an attendee, you can expect to immerse yourself in the Spear experience and gain informative and innovative insights that help you grow your practice, enhance team performance, and evolve the future of dentistry.

*Leadership Symposium, an exclusive invite-only pre-Summit event, is planned for March 25, 2026.

Spear Summit welcomes all dental professionals. You do not need to be a Spear member to attend. Learn more about registration.

Yes! Guests are encouraged to attend. A Guest Pass is an excellent choice for office managers or other practice team members who don’t need CE to experience Spear Summit alongside you and to assist in implementing key tactics when you return to your practice. A Guest Pass is also an excellent option for spouses, companions, and family members. A Guest Pass is $295, allowing your guest to attend all sessions, meals, and extracurricular events. CE is not included for guests.

Leadership Symposium is an exclusive, invite-only pre-Summit for VIP members that takes place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. VIP attendees can look forward to a fantastic keynote presentation centered on leadership development, offering actionable insights they can immediately implement in their practices when they return home.

VIP eligible: Spear Navigator, Practice Solutions, Faculty Club Elite and Faculty Club members, Spear Resident Faculty, Spear Visiting Faculty, Spear Study Club Leaders, and CDOCS Mentors and Mentors+ are all eligible to attend Leadership Symposium at no additional cost.

Yes! A FREE Spear Summit app will be available to download before the event date, allowing attendees to familiarize themselves in advance and get real-time updates while at the event. Once you're registered, look for an email about when the app is released.

If you need to cancel your Summit 2026 registration, the following applies.

Cancellations made before 11:59 p.m. (PT) Jan. 24, 2026
(60 days before March 25):
Refund = 100% registration fee

Cancellations made before 11:59 p.m. (PT) Feb. 23, 2026
(30 days before March 25):
Refund = 50% registration fee

Cancellations made after 11:59 p.m. (PT) Feb. 24, 2026
(less than 30 days before March 25)
No refund of the registration fee

Travel and lodging arrangements and cancellation policies regarding Spear Summit are not governed by Spear Education.

Dietary restrictions can be noted when you register. If you've already registered and forgotten to add dietary restrictions, please let us know at summit@speareducation.com.

Once registered for Summit, you can add any additional special events like Tai Chi, the whale watching cruise, the party, or Leadership Symposium by adding to your Summit registration within Shopify.

 Summit is business casual. Athletic attire is recommended for Tai Chi. Friday’s party is a "California Wine Mixer" with fine-yet-fun coastal style — think breezy linen suits, nautical stripes, flowy maxi dresses, chic sun hats, or even a captain’s blazer with personality. San Diego averages 60–70°F in March—pack layers if you're planning to explore off-site.

If you're qualified and have registered for Leadership Symposium, please arrive by noon on March 25 to provide time for check-in prior to the session beginning at 1 p.m.

If you're attending Summit only, please arrive by 7:30 a.m. on March 26 to provide time for check-in prior to the first session beginning at 8 a.m.

Be sure to book your hotel room at the Gaylord Pacific by Feb. 26, 2026 to take advantage of the Spear Summit room block rate and the convenience of staying onsite.
