Dan Wicker is an alumnus of Kansas State University and began his career at KPMG. He joined Cain Watters and Associates as a financial planner in 1997. When the company developed a partnership structure in 2008, Dan was elected to oversee CWA as its managing partner due to his previous success in serving over 100 clients for over 10 years.
In addition to seeing long-term clients, he oversees the financial planning process as well as the financial planners as the firm’s managing partner. He regularly shares his knowledge at the CWA Practice Transition Seminar, dental society meetings and study clubs nationwide.
He is a Certified Financial Planner and has a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) license from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also an Investment Advisor Representative and a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.

Dr. Frank Spear continues to be recognized as one of the premier educators in esthetic and restorative dentistry in the world. Considered the mastermind behind Spear Education’s Facially Generated Treatment Planning (FGTP) protocol, Dr. Spear first presented on this concept in 1986 at the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry meeting in Colorado Springs, CO.
He has a long professional history in the dental industry beginning in the late 1970s and has written more than 40 articles in various dental publications.
Dr. Spear maintains a busy lecture schedule, presenting dental continuing education in North America, Europe and Asia.

Her research has focused on patient reported quality of life outcomes of implant prosthetics. She focuses on using digital technology to improve techniques, communication, and enhance her patients’ experiences. Dr. Schlam received her dental training from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and her Certificate of Prosthodontics and Master’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill. She has also served as an active-duty US Army prosthodontist.

An international speaker, he has presented at over 500 congresses. He serves as a lecturer at the University of Bern and is an author and reviewer for numerous publications. Van B. Haywood, D.M.D., is Professor Emeritus at the Dental College of Georgia, Augusta University. He co-authored the first publication on Nightguard vital bleaching in 1989 and pioneered research on extended tetracycline-stained tooth bleaching. With over 145 publications, Dr. Haywood’s work spans bleaching, esthetics, and sensitivity. A globally recognized lecturer, he’s listed annually in Dental Products Report's “Top Leaders in Continuing Education.” In 2024, he received the Christian Medical Dental Association’s “Educator of the Year” award.
